Sending Tweets with Prepr

Writing and sending Tweets via Prepr is as easy as publishing a website article or web page. Let us show how you can easily publish to this world-class social media platform.

Write a Tweet

To write a tweet, go to Publish > Content items. Click on ' Add content item' and select the Twitter model.
After entering a Tweet text, you can further enrich your Tweet with the following information:
  • Mentions
You can mention other Twitter users and Twitter accounts. Type @ and a part of the name to search for Twitter accounts. Please be sure that you have selected the 'Tweet' setting in the model text field.
  • Add video
Select a video file and add this to your Tweet. You can only add 1 video. When uploading videos to Twitter you’ll need to make sure that your video file meets the limitations of video resolution and length. Here are some notes to keep in mind:
    • Unless you have a Twitter Ads account, your videos can't be longer than 2 minutes and 20 seconds, with a Twitter Ads account, the length of the video isn't limited.
    • The minimum resolution for Twitter videos is 32 x 32 and the maximum resolution is 1920 x 1200 or 1200 x 1900.
    • The maximum file size is 512MB.
    • Supported formats are MP4 and MOV on the Twitter mobile apps and, on the web, MP4 with H264 format with AAC audio.
  • Add photos
Select one or more photos and add those to your Tweet. You can add up to 4 photos.
  • Link to an article
Select a content item with the 'Add content item' button. The Tweet you send will then contains the link to that content item.
Note: You can only link content items that have the status 'DONE'
