A section is used to create separate groups of elements for your editors. This can be helpful when you want to separate the metadata from your content.

Add section

To organize the fields in your publication, go to Settings > Publish > Publication models. Click to edit one of your models. Go to the fields below.

To make a separation between fields, you can use a section. Click ' Add section' and give the section a name and a description to instruct your editors (optional). Drag this element in the right place. You can edit the settings if needed.

Sections in publications

The publications of the publication model are now separated correctly. The example below contains a section between the 'Description' and 'Item tags'.
