Stories: collection of publications
A story is more than a single publication. A story spans multiple publications, across multiple days and multiple touchpoints. But how do you efficiently manage stories and monitor engagement? Stories in Prepr help keep your publications organized and shows you exactly how each story performs.
Creating a story
To see a list of all stories, go to Publish > Stories. Here you have a quick view of the number of publications in each story and their status.
Note: Stories are only visible when you have the 'Story' permission.
To add a new story, click ' Add story'. Fill in a title and choose the type of story. The default is 'General', but you can switch to Dossier, Live blog, and Timeline as well. Types can be useful when you have a specific frontend design for each type of publication collection.
Add publications to a story
There are two ways of adding a publication to a story
In a story
To add a publication to a story, click on the title of the story. You will see a story detail, with all publications in this story. You can filter the publications based on status, assignee, language, tags, publication model, and publication time. To add a publication, click on 'Add publication' and follow the steps as described in 'Creating publications'.
In a publication
You can add your publication to a story in the publication. Select the story and click 'Add'. This option is only visible when 'Enable stories' is selected in a publication model.
